A few days go by. Three, to be precise.

But remember, I’m talking about three days on Zorquat 3. Not Earth.

Like I said before, eight days here equal seven days on Earth.

To make the Astro-Nuts calendar jibe with the Earth calendar, Bucky Buckner added one more day to the week here on Zorquat 3. Pretty simple, really. Unless you find this confusing.

On the Astro-Nuts calendar, sandwiched between Sunday and Monday, is the eighth day of the week. It’s called Someday. As in “Someday my prince will come.” Or “I’ll get around to it Someday.” Or “Someday I’ll be old enough to stay up past midnight.”

I know it sounds crazy. That’s because Somedays definitely are crazy—with a capital Z.

I’m bringing all this up because today is Someday. And on Someday everyone at Astro-Nuts Camp gets a full day of free time. We can do anything we want, anything at all. Well, almost anything. I can’t take a spaceship back to Earth or find out where my parents are. Maybe Someday soon.

Today Charlene Gordon invites me, Drew, and Sophie to go swimming with her and her friends Keisha, Jasmine, and Zach.

We hike to the waterfall that cascades from the top of the tall mountain that towers high above the others. The waterfall spills into a beautiful lake surrounded by tall trees. The bright yellow ball shines high in the sky.

Charlene and I sit together on a flat boulder on the shore, while Drew and Sophie splash together in the water. Keisha, Jasmine, and Zach walk around the lake to explore the waterfall and get sprayed with mist.
